Dear Cub Scout Parent:

The Raritan Valley District, Patriots’ Path Council, BSA, is proud to present the 2016 Fall Webelos Woods!  It is held in parallel with Cub Family camping at Mt. Allamuchy Scout Reservation.  You can find important information for parents and leaders in the Webelos Woods informational packet (link above).  There are two programs within this offering, Webelos Walk About/ Cast Iron Chief Adventure and AOL Scouting/Camp Adventure.  Please review this material carefully, as no overnight program can fulfill a complete adventure.

We are all responsible for making sure that your fellow leaders and parents understand all of the “do’s and don’ts”.  As a risk management and health and safety issue, your concern and support are both appreciated and needed!

Thank you in advance for your enthusiasm and assistance in continuing to make this a successful event, because Scouting is an adventure that lasts a lifetime. See you at camp!

Sincerely,

Ted Bell – Webelos Woods Camping Chairman   [email protected]

Jim Kelly – Program [email protected]   908-725-1025

Mike Trond – Quartermaster

Paul McClelland – High Adventure specialist

The Raritan Valley District is continuing its partnership with Microsoft to offer merit badge sessions.  Sign up your troop or patrol online via the district’s calendar (the link can be found at the top of this page).   The sessions will be held at the Microsoft Store in the Bridgewater Commons Mall.  Space is limited to no more than 16 scouts per session.  A $5 optional donation will be collected online to support the district.

We ask that all scouts bring their own blue cards (with their Scoutmaster’s signature).  Once the requirements are completed, the blue cards will be returned to the scouts.

Available dates can be found on the RV District Calendar.
