MERIT BADGE INTRODUCTION WORKSHOP!

Classes available 8:00 am-12:15 pm on November 6, November 13, and December 11, 2021.

Patriots’ Path Council Advancement Committee is pleased to offer the 2021 Merit Badge Introduction Workshop in an exciting new MULTI-WEEKEND, VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON format that will allow Scouts and their parents to select the classes and participation method that works best for them. There will be a number of virtual classes all three weekends as well as some with in-person classes offered at two venues over the first two weekends. See the Class Schedule at right for specific details.
The purpose of the workshop is to introduce merit badges to Scouts and to help them understand the specific merit badge process. For most of the merit badges Scouts will be able to obtain a “partial”, recorded in their Scoutbook account, but will not be able to complete the merit badge at this event. All supporting faculty will be available following the Workshop to provide follow-up support for Scouts to complete their badge(s).
Qualified, registered counselors will be running a total of 57 online and in-person classes with up to 20 Scouts each, covering 30 different merit badges.  Classes are one or two hours each.  Scouts will be introduced to the merit badge topic and requirements and complete a few requirements appropriate for a short online format.  They will leave the class with the information they need to complete the remaining requirements and finish the badge.

Registration will open at 12:00 AM on September 30, 2021. All Scouts must pre-register by 11:59PM EST on the dates shown below.
