CLARK, NJ – After the last long, hot, humid day of Clark Summer Recreation Camp, children left with lots of memories and looking forward to a few more weeks of vacation before school begins.

Shortly after their departure, the work began of packing up supplies and cleaning the campgrounds. Scouts from Clark Troop 145 joined in to help Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo and his staff through the process.

It is an annual tradition for the scouts to volunteer their time to Bernardo each year, something for which he is grateful. “The Boy Scouts show up every year to help me get the facility back in shape and I cannot express how grateful I am for their support,” said Bernardo.
