This initiative is designed to help Scouts earn their way to Cub Scout Day Camp, Webelos Resident Camp, Boy Scout Resident Camp, National High Adventure Activities, purchase new camping equipment, etc.

2017 PPC Scouting Adventure Card

  • Units participating in this program will earn 50%
  • Commission ($5.00) on each $10.00 Adventure Card they sell.
  • The sale begins in February and ends July 30, 2017.
  • This program is RISK FREE; units pay NOTHING UP FRONT and simply return any unsold / undamaged cards at settlement on or before August 11, 2017.
  • Individual Scouts can sell as Single Sellers if their unit does not sell.

EARNING YOUR OWN WAY IS AN IMPORTANT VALUE EVERY SCOUT SHOULD LEARN.

How it works:

    • The unit places its order for Scouting Adventure Cards starting in January.  
    • The Scouting Adventure Cards are available starting in February.
    • The Scouting Adventure Card Coordinator explains the card program to the Scouts and helps them set a goal for the amount they want to earn.
    • The Scouts sell the cards through July 30, 2017.
    • If a customer wants to pay for a card(s) with a check, the check must be made out to the unit, NOT to Patriots’ Path Council.
    • The unit returns any unused cards and payment for the sold cards no later August 11, 2017 to the Cedar Knolls office.  If not settled by this date the unit has purchased the unsold cards.
    • The unit pays $5.00 per card sold, checks are made payable to Patriots’ Path Council.

Strive for 25!

For every 25 Scouting Adventure Cards an individual Scout sells, they can enter one of our 25 weekly drawings. Each weekly drawing will have two winners of a $50 gift card.  All non-winning weekly entries will be carried over to the next weekly drawing.

2017 Strive for 25 – Rules and Application

To enter into a weekly drawing, sell at least 25 Camp Cards, complete a coupon and submit it to the Patriots’ Path Council. You may drop it off to the Council office in Cedar Knolls, fax it or email it to Beth Miller-Porter. Scouts can be entered for every 25 cards they sell and can enter multiple times each week.  Entries are due to the Patriots’ Path Council office by Wednesday at 5 p.m. to be considered for that Thursday’s drawing.  Entries received after Wednesday at 5 p.m. will be included in the next week’s drawing.

Drawings begin on Thursday, February 16, 2017 and will be drawn weekly until the last drawing on Thursday, August 3, 2017.

The Super Drawing will be held on August 10, 2017.
