For the first time we are bringing together, and providing you easy access to all your Cub Scout resources – both council resources and vendor resources – in one location. Get everything you need in one evening whether you are a parent who is new to Scouting (or thinking about registering a child), or den leader/Cubmaster looking for ideas, inspiration, and information. We can help you plan an outstanding year for your Cub Scouts!

Camping
Day Camps
Patriots’ Path Council operates two day camps for Cub Scouts: Camp Wheeler in Stanhope and Watchung Cub Scout Day Camp in Mountainside. Each offers six week-long sessions in July and early August.

Resident Camps
Webelos Resident Camp is an awesome resident camp experience for Webelos and Camp COLEY is a weeklong, co-ed, camp open to all girls and boys.

Weekend Camping
Our online weekend camping reservation system lets you check availability and make reservations at any time for weekend camping at Winnebago and Allamuchy. We also have Weekend and Weekday Programs at Allamuchy and Winnebago.

Hiking
New Jersey is full of history. Patriots’ Path Council oversees many historic trails that let Scouts explore that history. Several historic trail hikes are suitable for Cub Scouts.

  • Winnebago offers a 2-mile Cub Scout historic trail.
  • Jockey Hollow has a 5-mile Cub Scout trail at Morristown National Historical Park
  • Victory Trail is a historic 13-mile urban trail from Elizabeth to Springfield. The route follows the British advance into New Jersey that was stopped at the Battle of Springfield.
  • Camp Allamuchy offers an easy, guided weekday or self-guided weekend 4 to 5 mile hike and a shorter historic site hike.  Call Tom at 973-765-9322 x413 to register ($20 registration fee) and reserve your guide

Recurring Programs

Special Programs
We also run many special one-day and weekend events through the year such as Beaver Day in April to help improve the campgrounds and the Robert Tunnell Memorial Fishing Tournament in May at Winnebago.
