On the weekend of Jan. 26-28, 2018 the Black River District Klondike was held at Trexler Scout Reservation in Effort PA.   A total of approximately 550 Scouts, Webelos, adult leaders and volunteers participated in the competition on Saturday.  There were 27 troops represented with 45 sleds.  The winning sled was the ‘Screaming Eagles’ from Troop 236.  The ‘Coughing Blue Jays’ from troop 436 and “Hotnabananas’ from Troop 113 were second and third respectively.
Following the competition all enjoyed the traditional dinner prepared by the committee and staff and then a Star Wars movie finished the evening.  The Klondike was chaired by Howard Gordon, Larry Gersten and Dave Curtis supported by an outstanding staff of volunteers.

A spreadsheet of all the sled results will be posted soon.  Check back
