The Patriots’ Path Council will be recognizing Scouters for their service to our Hispanic, Asian and low income youth members. The recognitions are listed below. Nominations should be submitted by October 1, 2017. The awards will be presented at the council annual meeting dinner.

Vale La Pena Award – The purpose of the ¡Scouting … Vale la Pena! Service Award is to recognize outstanding service by an adult individual or an organization for demonstrated involvement in the development and implementation of Scouting opportunities for Hispanic/Latino youth. Asian Spirit of Scouting Award – The Asian American Spirit of Scouting Service Award recognizes outstanding service by an adult or an organization for demonstrated involvement in the development and implementation of Scouting opportunities for Asian American youth. Click here for the application

Whitney M. Young Award – The purpose of the Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award is to recognize outstanding services by an adult individual or an organization for demonstrated involvement in the development and implementation of Scouting opportunities for youth from rural or low-income urban back­grounds—this is in fulfillment of Dr. Young’s dream of justice and equality for all.
